I love...Cindy, Bob's home for the next 4 days... I love my husband, but when he's home he totally disrupts the daily routine.

Devonna, I've never read Mary Kay Andrews, I'll look for your review.

Jen, I'm not surprised that things changed after you're "trauma", and I'd love to put everything aside and have an all day readathon, not going to happen. LOS is good, but I'm not so sure it's as great as some like everyone to believe. Honestly, I thing Mr. Impossible is my favorite of her books.

Rosie, a reading break is probably what I need, maybe I should pick up some puzzle books, but I really want to be reading instead.

Kimber, Like I told Jen, Mr. Impossible is my favorite Chase, Lord of Scoundrels is good, but there's just something about Rupert that I love.Tara Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15963704767440694312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11597422.post-1158883607283449602006-09-21T20:06:00.000-04:002006-09-21T20:06:00.000-04:00I go through periods where everything I pick up ju...I go through periods where everything I pick up just doesn't do anything for me. When that happens I know I need a reading break and I entertain myself with other stuff for a few days...a week even. Usually when I go back to the TBR I'm more in the mood to read.Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15868327419940314643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11597422.post-1158854789224267612006-09-21T12:06:00.000-04:002006-09-21T12:06:00.000-04:00You know, there was a time when I would put everyt...You know, there was a time when I would put everything aside and just sit and read all day. Sure it cheesed off the family because nothing was getting done, but it was a happy time for me. Something about my last year's "trauma" or whatever has made me more responsible or something. I don't know. All I do know is that I don't like it! I average about 1.5 books a week now. Pffftt!!

I'm reading "The Devil's Delilah" by Loretta Chase. It's a 1989 book that's been republished with it's prequel (sort of), the 1988 "Viscount Vagabond".

I enjoyed V V, but it didn't do for me what her Carsington series did. I'm enjoying TDD a little bit more, but it's still obvious one of her earlier works.

I've been collecting the republished series with "Lord of Scoundrels" and am looking forward to that one.

JenJensterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15639970448069931471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11597422.post-1158853832456950022006-09-21T11:50:00.000-04:002006-09-21T11:50:00.000-04:00Well, after two books that I wasn't overly impress...Well, after two books that I wasn't overly impressed with, I picked up Savannah Breeze by Mary Kay Andrews. I'm just starting it, but I'm enjoying it so far. Bob's home for the next 4 days so I don't think I'll get much reading done now. Probably a good time to take a break.

CindySCindyShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18349459903336460467noreply@blogger.com
