'Man, I hope this isn't a DNF, I hope it's a keeper, I hope this gets better!'

If I'm reading a keeper I'm not nearly as 'in' the book as I used to be because I'm thinking about how I want to share it with everyone on the blog.

So for me, the feeling of disconnect, is definitely connected to blogging. But then if I think before that I did this to a certain extent with AAR because of the BB so maybe you need to think prior to online and see if you remember just reading without needing to share.

You know, I hadn't thought of that before. Years ago it was just me. No one I knew read romance books so I never talked about it with anyone. I just hugged those books I loved to my chest and threw the others at the wall, stomped on them and wondered what I had done to deserve such punishment.

So I think you are correct in the 'sharing' aspect of reading now. Since we are no longer solitary in our reading we think about how Kristie would just love this western or how Tara Marie would love this romantic suspense. Or my favourite, 'I'm so going to send flying monkeys to ______ house!'

CindySCindyShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18349459903336460467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11597422.post-11263760203823499012007-08-10T11:53:00.000-04:002007-08-10T11:53:00.000-04:00You may hate it, but you do a fine job. :o)You may hate it, but you do a fine job. :o)Jensterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15639970448069931471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11597422.post-33208454795080251422007-08-10T09:17:00.000-04:002007-08-10T09:17:00.000-04:00But that's why you write such good reviews!I find ...But that's why you write such good reviews!

I find this highly debatable--LOL. I like pretty much everything - some better than others - but I can't write a good review to save my life. :o)Jensterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15639970448069931471noreply@blogger.com
