well it time for christmas stuff now, bring on the music! this year for christmas tree is some nice. gold decoration the same as last year but the stuff got that red tint to it to go with the pointsetta theme . and my favorite new modern twist ina tree is the glossy black fir tree decorated in just gold ornaments and ribbon, so gorgous . trivia there were black fir trees or was it pines tree? grew in the black forest in germany. sadly it seem they are extinct, dna , cloning ? et tu sciencist? hint hint

Trunk-or-Treat was a big hit over here with my church. Tons of kids and way too much candy. I coulnd't wait to get home, help the kids get to bed and snuggle up to my latest read, Coinage of Commitment.

Our church did that trunk or treat thing last year and it was a lot of fun. You are a busy girl. I always used to say that a working mom is the hardest job in the world. Plus all that volunteering at church and school. It's a wonder if you have any time to read.

Tara, I won't bother listing my own suddenly crazy schedule for the past couple of weeks, but I'm totally with you! I've managed to check in here and there on a couple of blogs, but my tired brain can barely rub 2 cells together to leave a comment much less write a post on my own blog. :-P

Our church used to have parking lot trick or treating. We'd have a little service and a sort of potluck dinner and then go out to the decorated cars. There were costume contests, pumpkin patches (for best carved pumpkin)...all sorts of stuff. You brought back lots of happy memories.
