Completely Out of the Loop

It may be hard to believe but over the last 2 months I've not read or bought one new or used book.

Yes, you read that correctly--LOL.

Not one book during the months of August and September. I've been rereading and I read an ARC of Lynn Viehl's Evermore, the next book in the Darkyn series. I did pick up the last three issues of RT at the bookstore the other day, but haven't had time to actually read them yet.

So, what are the must reads I've missed?

ETA--I've done a quick run through all three RTs and have come up with a "wish list" but not too big all things considered, so suggestions are greatly appreciated :)

Wow, that's great for the budget if you didn't buy any books :D

In my opinion, the must read are Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh and Agnes and the Hitman by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer :) Aside from those, I can't think of any others ^^;

CARESSED BY ICE is good, don't miss that one. I'll add DANGEROUS LOVER by Lisa Marie Rice, A REASON TO BELIEVE by Maureen McKade, and, of course, THE SERPENT PRINCE by Elizabeth Hoyt.

The McKade is the second in her Forrester brothers trilogy. I think I remember you reading Hoyt's books. I was late to that party, but enjoyed both THE LEOPARD PRINCE and TSP.

Some old and new favorites are the Stepp Sisters trilogy by Kathy Love, Wishes by Jude Deveraux, and Montana Sky by Nora Roberts. Of course, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the new Kleypas and devouring it!

Oy. I've hardly read a thing in the last couple months either. I read the last two Circle Trilogy books by Nora Roberts in August and I'm still on the same book (Lord John Grey and the Brotherhood of the Blade) that I've been working on all month. And yet I keep buying books. What's wrong with me??

I did see the Lisa Kleypas new one (Cam's story) and a new Madeline Hunter at Borders tonight, but the kids wouldn't let me buy them. So I'll go back when they're in school. :o) Heck, maybe I'll even read them!

I highly second Rosie's rec of the Hoyt books. I just finished The Leopard Prince and it was a keeper.

Caressed by Ice was yummy. Sadly Dangerous Lover was the last book I read and I did like it but I can't remember a thing as I sit here. I know he was alpha and maybe more obsessed than in love. That's right, I remember now - there was a bit of an 'ick' feeling but I plan on reading more of her books.

several of these books were on my "list" :) I'm heading to the bookstore today or tomorrow.

Caressed by Ice, The "Prince" books by Elizabeth Hoyt, and If His Kiss is Wicked by Jo Goodman.

All delish.

I've just discovered the Highlander series by Karen Moning. I've liked all of them so far. I'm on the fifth of seven (I think). Check 'em out.
