Going without the internet for a week is like a junkie going through withdrawals--LOL.
I will admit to being an idiot...
- couldn't get the cable modem hooked up because the splitter wasn't working.
- couldn't get dial-up to work--it wasn't plugged into the wall jack.
- once I finally got on through the cable modem the IE browser wouldn't work--brought everything back to Best Buy for them to tell me it was set to work off-line.
Well, I'm off to see just how much faster cable is over dial-up :D
Have a good one.

Wow, you're on Vista. Welcome to the bright side.
ag, it's a little scary, I went from Window ME to Vista, it's a culture shock :D
Cable is much, much faster than dial up. In a month you're going to wonder how you ever survived with dial up in the first place!
Michelle, I'm loving it!! I've been reading Nefertiti and it's wonderful :)
Thank you, Tara ;] I hope you can look beyond the many mistakes! The galley came out after the book had been cut by a 100 pages so it's a very early, very unedited version. But it was a great deal of fun to research and write. And I'm glad to see you're back online... better and faster than ever!!
Cable internet!!! Way to go Tara!! Now you to will be able to enjoy all those YouTube videos. I'm thinking very soon you'll wonder how on earth you did without it!!
