What to say??

I've been trying to formulate my thoughts about Lover Awakened for the past 2 days, but every time I start to write something I find it's filled with spoilers and that's not fair to anyone who hasn't read it yet. I'm rereading parts in the hope I can come up coherent non-spoiler comments.

I also finished Slave to Sensation, wow, it was like reading Linda Howard or Nora Roberts trying to channel Jayne Ann Krentz and putting a whole new spin on the telepathy thing, throw in the fact the hero is an alpha panther changeling and it's a book you can't put down. I'm adding Nalini Singh to my authors who write "great men" list.

Heading to 7:30 Mass, so I have to go, sometime today I should be able to come up with reviews/comments for both of these books.

We'll talk later.

You know, I think you nailed it there. The book has got the smoothness and flow of books from seasoned authors like Howard or Roberts, and the way intimacy develops between Sascha and Lucas is a bit like vintage JAK.

Oh, I am so glad you liked StoS. I feel like I have a personal investment in this book after all the hullaboo I raised. Can't wait to see your thoughts.

Rosario, I was amazed by the smoothness and flow of this book. I hadn't realized this wasn't her first book, when I check her website I found a whole bunch of Silhouette Desires I'm now going to have to try to find.

Jane, I'm not a huge fan of changeling books, but this one worked big time for me. I'm glad you pushed it, I might have passed on it otherwise. Thank you.

Arrrggghhh I so want Slave to Sensation!!! I checked online this morning to see if it's in yet and they have four copies in the whole city - all on the other side of town about a half hours drive away. I don't know whether to wait and see if it comes to the one around me (less than a 5 minute drive - same chain) or to make the long trek.

Kristie, it's worth going across town for, but of course, if I go anywhere besides my local UBS/Indie booksellers, I'm driving half an hour anyway.
