The rushing rising river...

The Wallkill River is normally a fairly quiet meandering river, not now.

These pics are beautiful! Do you live near here?

We live on the Wallkill River less than a quarter mile from where I took these pictures.

Hi! It is I, sick with a bad cold (nasal congestion, a cough, a sore throat that finally seems to be going away, and fatigue!) after coming back from a good time in Charlottesville. The weather has changed here as well -- cooler temperatures and more rain, but nothing like the rain you are getting! Need to think of what I want to post on my blog today. I have a temporary promotion at work that starts Monday -- sitting in until a replacement is found for my boss, who took another job with a different division, so I think my mind has been on that since I got back from my mini-vacation.

Reading of the new Gabaldon has been progressing more slowly than I expected..It is just huge at 998 pages..as my son said if you dropped it on your foot it could break your toe! Do you have it?
