Found this over at AAR...

Looking for a medieval romance with historical accuracy and characters who belong in their time? Joan Wolf delivers in satisfying fashion with To the Castle.

That's all I needed to read and stopped reading the review (the grade was a B by the way). I'm ordering it today.

Joan Wolf and medieval in the same paragraph makes me one very happy camper.

I picked up Vickie Taylor's Carved in Stone, and I'm about 1/2 finished. It's very good, with a great premise.

Have a great day and weekend, and HAPPY READING!!!

I'll look for that one too. I love her medievals.

Here's hoping! I ordered it from Books-a-Million -- the first romance I've bought this month, so I'm pretty much sticking to my resolve.

Saw your next comment on my blog -- horrible cold or allergy attack! Sneeze, cough, hack, rub eyes...

Today was not a good day for a different reason. One of the secretaries in my office got a phone call last night that her oldest son, who lives in NYC, was found on the street, suffering severe injuries from a beating. He is only 27 years old, self-employed, now on a respirator in ICU. She and her niece are on their way up to NY. She is just devastated. We commute in together on the bus and she doesn't have a car. I gave her some money to buy gas for the rental car and a bite to eat on the road, but wish I could have done more. Just makes you sick! I need to go watch a movie or stick my nose in a book and try to forget it for a while.

Anne--I'm so sorry to hear about your friends son. Crime in NYC is down so much you forget these things still happen. My thoughts and prayers are with all of them.

Anne--hope you feel better soon.

Hey Tara Marie, I ordered this book from Barnes&Noble along with 3 others Thursday. I hope to have it by Monday. And I hope that it's a good read.

You'll have to let me know what you think of Carved in Stone. I was very impressed with it.
