If it's Tuesday...
It must be Bingo. Ah, it's only once every 4 weeks but this month my "Bingo Team" gets zonked twice, today and Halloween. Our "Bingo Captain" (I swear that's what he's called) is sick, the old people will smell fresh blood, the feeding frenzy will be ugly. The grapevine is telling us one of the old folks stole $170 last week, don't they realize how close they are to the Pearly Gates--yikes bad karma at its worst.

I'm pretty sure every time you mention Bingo I tell you how terrifying I find the whole thing. I don't get the fascination and I only pray I find better ways to amuse myself when I get older. Course, if I need money I might need to harry off to the Bingo hall and create a diversion.

Cindy, Between Bingo and trips to Atlantic City and the different reservation Casinos in the area I'm amazed at how much old people like to gamble. The ones I come in contact with have no problem living on a "fixed income."
