So, I'm curious is it okay to be deliberately obtuse when you're in a horribly cranky mood? I probably should apologize to Diana Peterfreund for picking at a part of her theory without admitting the whole wasn't really a bad idea.
I'd like to blame the hubby for starting a fight before we even had breakfast, but I guess that doesn't justify rude behavior.

I didn't think you sounded rude, you just offered a dissenting opinion about part of her argument. If you post something up in a public forum, you can't expect everyone to agree with you, and I'm sure Diana welcomes other opinions as ways of opening the dialogue.
I know people who would never speak to each other if it weren't for their arguments, lol.

(I am tired of logging into this new google-blogger all the time - it doesn't remember me from one blog to the next! Argh!)
Sam, thank you, maybe I didn't come across too rude then--LOL.
What is with google-blogger, I don't have to log in with every comment but it is asking more and more--and you're right it's annoying.
I went to the RTB thing and I didn't think you were rude but then, I wasn't really following the argument.
Was the jist that if there comes a dissenting voice is everyone supposed to ignore it? I do that anyways but I think it's from being on the net for 10 years. I think newbies are more likely to set the dukes a flying when stumbling across stuff like this the first time.
Blaming the husband is always kosher.
