Review requests...

Over the last couple of months I've started to receive review requests from authors. I'll gladly review just about anything that falls within the romance genre and historical fiction. Which kind of surprises me because only about half of what I post here are reviews, and I don't even review everything I read. But, when I write a review I am honest about my thoughts, good or bad.

If you would like me to review a book please email me at romancereadingmom@yahoo.com, I have no idea whether or not that link will automatically open up an email form--LOL.

I'll also post this information in my sidebar for future reference.

Have a great day and happy reading.

I've gotten a couple too and haven't said yes. It's not because I don't want to or anything - but it seems my brain is wired to think as soon as I MUST do something - it freezes. I would hate to commit to reviewing a book and then not be able to read it because of some psychological block. I noticed that with Angies challenge. Whenever I signed up for a particular TBR genre - paranormal, or historical or whatever it was that month - I couldn't even seem to read one, even if it was in a genre I loved.
Weird!

Off topic question:

I read your blog quite frequently and enyoy it. You seem like a nice person so I feel free to ask you this question. We just bought a motorhome andI thought I would start a blog so friends and family can hear about out adventures traveling. My question is do you like you blog host and would it be an easy one for a beginning blogger to use.
Thanks,
Marie

That's pretty cool! You maybe don't review as much as other people might, but when you do you give great details. I'll never be asked to review books because my reviews are something like, "I love this book. It was funny. I liked the setting." Seriously! I just wrote my thoughts on Book of the Seven Delights and I think that's pretty much what I said! lol

Kristie, originally I'd decided against it for the very same reason, but then I received requests for a couple I wanted to read so I figured what the heck--LOL.

Marie, I think Blogger is very easy to use and it's free--can't beat that. If you decide later that you need something more detailed then you can try wordpress or something else.

Good Luck. I love blogging, it's fun.

Jen, reviews are work for me, I have a tendency to gush or rant, so in between things are real work. But I'm starting to enjoy doing them...
